GLP-1 support or lifestyle alone?

Who tends to ask this

You are deciding whether to pursue medication support or to keep working with nutrition and exercise on their own. Both can be valid. The right choice depends on your history, your health, and medical guidance.

The real difference

Traditional weight loss relies on nutrition, activity, and habit change alone. GLP-1 therapy adds a physician-supervised medication that can help regulate appetite and satiety, which makes the nutrition and habit work more sustainable for some people. Medication is not a replacement for the lifestyle work. Protein, hydration, strength, and consistent habits still matter, and in some ways matter more, because losing weight quickly without them can cost muscle. Medication is not right for everyone, and it requires consultation and medical clearance.

Where each one tends to shine

Lifestyle alone

When you are making steady progress and prefer not to use medication, with coaching to protect muscle and keep it sustainable.

GLP-1 support

When appetite regulation has been a persistent barrier, under medical guidance. The coaching around it is what protects your muscle, energy, and long-term results.

Worth knowing

A medication is a tool, not a plan. Whichever path fits, the work that protects what matters, muscle, energy, and keeping the results, is the same. In my practice, prescribing and medical oversight happen through the medical provider at Mon Petit. I provide the coaching and support: protein, hydration, strength, body composition, and long-term maintenance. Results vary, and medication is not right for everyone.

Not sure which path fits your health and history?

This is a decision to make with medical guidance, not marketing. Tell me your goals and I will walk you through how the coaching works either way, and what medical clearance involves.
