A treatment or a facelift? The honest answer.
Who tends to ask this
Your lower face has changed, and you are trying to figure out whether a treatment will handle it or whether you actually need surgery. This is one of the most important questions to get right, so I will be straight with you.
The real difference
RF microneedling, like Morpheus8, is a non-surgical treatment that can improve mild to moderate laxity and skin quality by remodeling collagen over time. It involves some downtime, develops over months, and is planned as a series. A surgical facelift is a surgical procedure performed by a plastic surgeon that physically lifts and repositions tissue. It addresses significant, advanced laxity that no non-surgical device can match, and it comes with real surgical recovery and longer-lasting structural change.
Where each one tends to shine
RF microneedling (Morpheus8)
Mild to moderate changes, or as a starting point, when you want to improve firmness and skin quality without surgery. What I offer.
A surgical facelift
Significant, advanced laxity, when the goal is a level of change a treatment cannot reach. Performed by a surgeon, not by me.
Worth knowing
Morpheus8 is not a facelift and does not replace one when laxity is advanced. For some people, surgery is the better fit, and I will tell you that. For mild to moderate changes, non-surgical remodeling may be enough, or a reasonable place to start. I do not perform surgery. If that is the right path for you, I will point you toward a qualified surgeon.
