Forma

Forma is the treatment I add to nearly every plan because it's the only thing on my menu that delivers an immediate, walk-out-the-door result with no downtime. It's the treatment celebrities famously do before red carpets. It's what brides do the week of their wedding. It's what works when you need to look refreshed by tomorrow, not three months from now.

Unlike microneedling or laser treatments, Forma uses no needles, creates no controlled injury, and produces no visible recovery. It uses radiofrequency to gently and uniformly heat the dermis to a specific therapeutic temperature, 42-43 degrees Celsius, which is the threshold where existing collagen contracts and new collagen synthesis begins.

The result is two-layered: an immediate tightening you can see leaving the office, followed by a gradual improvement in skin firmness over the following weeks as new collagen is laid down. It's the treatment that earns its place on the menu as both a perk and a plan.

Forma delivers controlled, uniform radiofrequency energy to the dermal layer of skin. A handheld device with a sensor that monitors skin temperature in real time moves across the treatment area, maintaining the dermis at 42-43°C for a sustained period.

That specific temperature range is the threshold for two important things to happen: first, existing collagen fibers contract, they tighten on contact with heat, like proteins in an egg coagulating. Second, the heat signals fibroblasts (the cells that produce collagen) to begin synthesizing new collagen and elastin. The first effect is immediate. The second effect builds over the following weeks.

Because Forma operates entirely from the surface and creates no injury, no needle penetration, no ablation, no controlled wound, there is no recovery period. You can wear makeup immediately after.
